Her research explores the symbiotic relationship between AI and cybersecurity, focusing on leveraging AI for enhanced security and securing AI applications themselves. Driven by this passion, she founded a cybersecurity startup providing expert consultation in AI security and general cybersecurity. Her work bridges academic research and practical application, aiming to fortify digital defenses against evolving threats. Jolly’s expertise lies in navigating the complex intersection of AI and cybersecurity, contributing to a more secure digital landscape.

OSINT Curious is a passionate individual with a deep interest in Open-Source Intelligence and has a hacker’s mindset. With expertise in cybersecurity, OSINT, red teaming, adversary simulation, and thinking like a threat actor, they bring a unique perspective to uncovering and understanding vulnerabilities and exposures.

Laura specialises in understanding the latest scams, hacks, malware and fraudulent behaviours in cyber crime and current threats that affect everyday Internet users. Her background primarily lies in offensive security - ethical hacking - before she was appointed as Head of Threat Intelligence at F-Secure. She’s also known for her appearance in Finnish hacking TV documentary Team Whack.

Dr. Bernhards “BB” Blumbergs is a lead cyber-security expert at the Information Technology Security Incident Response Institution of the Republic of Latvia, CERT.LV and the former Technology Researcher at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence NATO CCD COE also the Ambassador of the Centre since 2018. Currently, he is doing his postdoctoral research project at the Nara Institute of Science of Technology, NAIST in Japan within the JSPS fellowship.

John is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago studying under the tutelage of Chris Kanich. He is a principal analyst at NETSCOUT on the ATLAS Security Engineering and Response Team (ASERT). He currently serves as a research fellow at ICANN, sits on the NANOG program committee, and operates Dataplane.org.

Jouni Ihanus holds an M.Eng. in technology competence management and M.Eng. in cyber security. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. His research focuses on cyber situation awareness with a technological twist. In his professional life, Jouni leads operational information security in a Finnish public administration organisation. Jouni is passionate about developing and simplifying areas where people and technology meet, which he sees as one of the central challenges of the modern world.

Erno Kuusela is an established software developer and information security professional. In his past, he has been involved in cutting edge information security research as a member of the Oulu University Secure Programming group, OUSPG. His varied interests span from cloud technology to game engines and nowadays he is mostly working on line-of-business software projects.

Agnė Brilingaitė holds PhD in Computer Science from Aalborg University, Denmark. She is an associate professor and researcher at the Institute of Computer Science, Vilnius University. Her research interests focus on data and knowledge engineering, cybersecurity training, and education in computer science. She leads the EEA funded project Advancing human performance in cybersecurity, ADVANCES, where multiple disciplines are applied to develop learning paths for cyber workforce. Agnė’s passion is deconstructing complex data to the atomic details, understand data component interrelations, and apply this knowledge in the problem-solving process.

Mikko Hyppönen is one of the most recognized cyber security experts in the world, and a best-selling author. He has written for the New York Times, Wired and Scientific American and lectured at the universities of Oxford, Stanford and Cambridge. Mikko works as the Chief Research Officer for WithSecure and sits in the advisory boards of EUROPOL and Verge Motorcycles.

Manuel Werka is an undergraduate Student at the IT Security department of the University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten, Austria. Currently, he is involved in deepfake research at the University, as well as working for PwC as a cybersecurity specialist.
